Net worth

Net worth. When I think of this as a statement I see a monster looming large, the net worth money monster asks "what is your net worth?". If you answer this question with a dollar value, he has won your soul, claimed the prize of you. The subconscious is like a happy puppy, panting after whatever it is you and I have planted there. It says "what do I think, what do I think, pant pant, ok, I am only (ONLY) worth $_______.00" and there you have it, the underling message that predominates and pervaids without you giving the whole issue much conscious thought. Money IS on the mind for most of us and equating the self with how much of it you have/I have, is a dangerous high stakes game. I know net worth is a financial term and yet, this term has become an entity, a personality by which we judge ourselves and others. It is a monster reducing worth to dollars and can make us feel penny small. NO, say NO to this monster, no is your first line of defence. This monster is deadly and whiley and has encouraged many to take their own lives as their "worth" fell measured by bank account numbers. Never be alone with this monster, talk to someone that knows the Truth about who you are and how much you are really worth. Liars are murderers, this money monster is the most deadly of them all.
