Indomitable

I believe in the indomitable nature of the human spirit.  The root of this word is dominate. I write with extreme energy, with an overpowering feeling of something having to be said. We fight, as infants, then as children, then as adults, to be free from dominance.  The money monster dominance has a sure glint in his wicked eye, each and every time we humans submit to his overlordship, his steel fisted grip on our souls, with his quick and dirty comments that status quo works, don't be a fool and change what isn't broken. To eat the same meal for breakfast, lunch, dinner, day in day out becomes tasteless and his steady slop onto our spirits is gruel to the soul. I will not be dominated and nor will you be, when we recognize the indomitable nature of our spirits. Status quo is for the yet to be initiated, and they too will be set free if they see in us, fearless courage in the face of a shrinking monster. Money monster dominance doesn't write my paycheck, I do, each time I decide it is my life and I refuse to be held back or down by status quo.  My spirit stands, hands on hips, calling the shots...
