Slaying greed and thanklessness

I am confronted, affronted, with greed, thanklessness.  These money monsters are rampant, frothing at the mouth, ready to devour the human that loves money more than sister, brother, father, mother, friend...what of money if it provides food, more things, and severs the soul from relationship with others?  We hunger again, things needed anew, but the damage this love of money can do is immeasurable and damning.  Greed is desperation, a clamouring for a self protective cocoon, self love blinding the greedy to the other. Thanklessness encourages greed, tells greed that more is never enough and what we have will not provide...I see the snivelling liars, whispering their selfish twisted untruths, making the humans that listen and believe, ugly and twisted too.  The remedy, give and yea shall receive...these are hard to slay monsters, doable though, with generousity and gratitude, they too shall fall.
