Qualified to Be Certified

I have an oral exam to pass, then I am certified as a Co-Active CTI trained coach. During my completion call this week, my program leader called my pod mates and I her colleagues, a bonafide verbal acknowledgement of accomplishment from one professional to another. Coaching is not for the faint of heart, it is a gruelling process of self discovery and hard work. I await my exam and the stamp of approval, the CERTIFIED word that I can put behind my name for clients interested in hiring a professional coach. The thing is, I'm already a professional, qualified coach, I have done my painstaking heart breaking risk taking work and I have earned the title. The money monster would have me, and my new to the profession colleagues believe that we are unworthy, that we have yet to earn the title, that somewhere out there, someone else will guide us, teach us about our niche and marketing and how to make our first $100 000 in year one.  I say bullshit money monster, I don't buy your line of reasoning...I will not believe your lies.  I know what I've got, what I have worked intensely for for years on end.  It is not just the year of coach learning, it is the countless soul searching years of wisdom that I have accumulated PLUS the professional training that has brought me to this place of knowing just how good I am at what I do.  The not enough money monster is not worthy of my time, searching the internet for answers I already have. I am enough, I have enough, I am COACH!
