Fighting For Value

My husband is a real estate agent and today during an initial meeting with a client, the client asked if he would consider reducing his commission. He stated "no, I won't, in fact I'm not charging you enough, that's how much I value my services.  See how I'm fighting for myself right now, image how I'll fight for you and your money with potential buyers". Isn't this what we all want, someone who will fight for us, have our best interests at heart when we hire them to do work for us?  This is my commitment, my staying power to deliver what a client wants and asks for, and hopefully more. The money monster devalue tries to convince us that our worth is measured in dollars and cents and while money is a useful tool for giving and getting, it has nothing to do with value, contribution, commitment and deliverance.  Fighting for yourself models strength and in the case of my husband, it is an offer to clients to trust in his abilities and commitment to fight for them too.  Money has energy, in the hands of the holder...think on that one money monster devalue, as you whither and slither your way back into the dirt where you belong.
