Twin money monsters, accommodating and compromise

Sometimes we need a yes, a nod to go ahead and this puts one in the position of getting this green light from another, someone who has the power to say yea or nay. Depending on the want, a person might compromise their values, schedule, stated priorities to ACCOMODATE this yes. This is dangerous ground and while the money monster compromise would have you and I believe that this is what we must do to get our needs met, there is a part in this scenario that is damaging.  It's like the yes person has the loaf of bread and whatever crumbs he/she throws your way/my way, is good enough and we should be grateful. Blahhhhhhh, gross, disgusting and NO money monster compromise~a trail of bread crumbs that must be followed and pecked at on a path of someone else's creation is NOT my path. Here's a tip:  if it feels like you are compromising what is important to you to satisfy a need by accepting someone else's conditions, then chances are that's what is going on. Recalibrating and doing a quick what's really important to me self check in PLUS acknowledging that you are talented and the boss of your own destiny will help you kick compromise and it's devious twin money monster accommodating to the curb.
